Food Conscious Tour

📍 Date: April 25, 2025
📍 Location: Dreamers and Achievers, Southeast Washington, DC

The 6th Annual Food Conscious Tour launched its first stop in the nation’s capital with a powerful, community-driven event focused on health education, food access, and empowerment.

We were honored to partner with Dreamers and Achievers, DC Central Kitchen, Howard University, DC Department of Health, DC Greens. Together, we brought fresh produce, legal services, mental health resources, a live cooking demo, and conversations that matter directly to the people.

What Is the Food Conscious Tour?

Founded six years ago, the Food Conscious Tour is a grassroots initiative designed to raise awareness in underserved, food desert–plagued communities. We travel city-to-city to provide access to fresh food, resources, and information that promote better eating habits and healthier lives.

Our mission is simple but urgent: Empower communities through knowledge, food access, and collective action.
